If you need to be at too many places across the globe in really short time spans, then your wait for a supersonic jet will so be put to rest. A stunning new, supersonic luxury air jet prototype will soon make its debut at the Farnborough International Airshow in England, this July. The jet has been created in collaboration between NASA, Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Gulfstream. Gulfstream suggests that the jet can fly over 2,485 miles per hour, which is four times faster than the company’s G650, the world’s fast jet of its kind to date. The plane is aimed at the business jet market.

Reports say, “Lighter composite materials, more advanced engines and smaller fuselages could enable new jets to travel about twice as fast as Concorde, which flew at up to 2187 km/h.” By this logic a flight from London to Sydney can be completed in just four hours, as opposed to the 23 hours that the trip takes today. The wait for commercial flights will be longer as a full-sized functional model of the jet named X-54 will not be available until 2030.

The designer has pushed the already extraordinary properties of carbon fiber, resulting in bespoke furniture pieces that seemingly defies the laws of physics and has been influenced by the structural design and advanced materials and manufacturing processes used in the world of racing and supercars. Interestingly, the limited edition, handcrafted, carbon furniture items, including the Marea, Amaca, Monolito Megalito, to name a few, has been created through the combination of ultramodern design practices and materials, with traditional handcrafting skills. However, it’s not new to see the furniture crafted out of carbon fiber, as we have earlier seen the contemporary carbon furniture by Mast 3.0 and the carbon fiber chair by Timothy Schreiber.

This was also another vehicle that was speculated upon for its limited edition version but very recently got launched by the brand ambassador, Sebastian Vettel. The height of the chassis was lowered by 0.8 inches and the bespoken 21-inch wheels added further stability to the SUV. Since this was launched by Sebastian Vettel, it had its initials as a monogram towards the rear part of the vehicle.

Made in joint collaboration by Maserati and Cabrio Fendi, this limited edition vehicle has 3-layer grey paint with golden hues, making it a rather unique shade not noticed anywhere. A rather unique brown was featured in the Cuoio leather trimmings inside, such as on the seats, dashboard and side handles. This leather variety is best known for the unique patterns it presents itself in. Also one could see generous use of Pergamena wood in these areas. As for the engine, it was a 4.7 liter V8 with auto-transmission, created especially for this model, giving it power along with the existing style quotients.

the latest reports on the upcoming 2012 Ferrari California has painted an interesting picture for car enthusiasts across the world. The preview of the changes undergone in the overall makeover is surprising and much awaited. Starting from better-machined internal engine components, a micro-cast exhaust and a new engine computer mapping system, this list could take all day. The Torque gets a bump from 358 to 373 lb. Its horsepower boosts up too from 460 to 490 hp. An improved suspension response time and the overall materials used on the chassis will have this new beauty at 66.1 lbs lighter. If all this wasn’t enough, the optional Special Handling Package feature will have an upgraded magnetorheological suspension control system that will reduce the response time from 10 to 5 ms.

An additional feature change of damper options from extreme hard to soft in 8 ms should not be missed either. So what are the external changes?
