With its rounded, sculptural shape, you’d think this wireless speaker system was all show and no go. Not the case. This beauty also sounds good from any angle and lets you stream music from iTunes on your Mac, PC, iPhone, iPad or iPod touch over a home Wi-Fi network.  That works.

Nintendo Wii U

wii u 2 Nintendo Wii U

Well, you can’t blame them for trying. The new Nintendo Wii U ($TBA) is simultaneously one of the most interesting and most bizzare console systems we’ve ever seen, pairing a more powerful, 1080p-capable Wii-like box with an insane controller sporting a 6.2-inch touchscrreen, two analog sticks, a stylus, a front-facing camera, a full complement of buttons, an accelerometer and gyroscope, rumble capabilities, a microphone, and stereo speakers. You’ll be able to use the controller’s screen to augment the action on your TV, or release the TV from its gaming duties and play right on the screen. Oh, and it supports all the existing Wii controllers and input devices, meaning there’s going to be some seriously weird pairings before it’s all said and done. [thanks Uncrate]

Having honed your newly-found DJ skills on your iPad using Djay, are you ready to take the next step and transfer from the virtual to real life controls? Numark iDJ Live ($100) was made for you. Developed in partnership with Algoriddim, the company behind the aforementioned Djay, the iDJ Live connects to your iPad — or iPhone, or iPod touch — via the Dock Connector, and gives you a pair of real performance platters for cueing and scratching, a central mixing section with a crossfader and plenty of buttons and knobs, and a custom audio cable for connecting to speakers and headphones. True, it’s not technically a “real” DJ setup, but it’s a big step in that direction. [Thanks Uncrate.com]

It doesn’t matter if you have migraines, sinus headaches, tension headaches, spend too much time at the computer, or just need a little “down time” each day, The Temple and Eye Massager ($150) is like a trip to the spa. Strap it on and you’ll feel a combination of vibration massage and air-bag massage (during which the device expands and contracts against your eye sockets). There’s also heat compression to stimulate blood flow and soothe sore muscles around the eyes. The timer can be set for 5, 10, or 15 minutes, during which you’ll hear the soothing sounds of nature as they play through and integrated speaker system. Ahhh…
